Our Story

Hi! I'm Geri Bohn, the founder of Sage Beauty and Wellness studio suites. I created Sage with one simple goal in mind, to help women entrepreneurs in the beauty and wellness industry build successful, independent businesses while offering clients like me a one-stop destination for all their self-care needs.

Although I'm not a beauty professional myself, I am a long-time lover of all things beauty! Over the years, I found myself spending more time driving from appointment to appointment than actually enjoying the self-care experience. What should've felt pampering started to feel like just another to-do list. That's when the idea for Sage Beauty and Wellness was born—a local high-end salon where women can be refreshed, rejuvenated, and cared for, all under one roof.

When I'm not helping other women chase their dreams, you'll find me at home on Lil' Honky Tonk Farm, our very own hobby farm full of personality and animals! We have 46 in total, including 30 chickens, 4 micro mini highlands, 4 mini donkeys, and 7 dwarf nigerian goats. Every one of them (except our chocolate lab, Chevy) is named after a country singer… naturally, since I have a huge love for country music!

My husband Chris and I have been married for almost 25 years, and together we've built a life centered on hard work, faith, and family. Our three amazing kids keep us grounded and inspired:

• Briana, our oldest, is a talented hairstylist who runs Boots & Beauty right here in one of our Sage suites. She's getting married this spring!
• Kaleb, our 21-year-old son, has low-functioning autism and is nonverbal. Autism is a huge part of our lives, and many of our business decisions are built around creating space where he can be with us every day.
• Kelsey, our youngest, is 14, full of energy, and passionate about horseback riding. She dreams of becoming a barrel racer someday.

Chris owns a local trailer rental business, and we both share a passion for building a life that supports our family and others in our community. Sage Beauty and Wellness is an extension of that vision—a space filled with passion, purpose, and love.
